Muhiimadda Naas Nuujinta

Qataadah ibnu dacaamah waxa uu yiri: naas nuujinta waxa ay noqon lahayd waajib haddii uunan ilaah raacin lahayn aayadda qeybteeda dabe ee micnaheed yahay qofki doonaya inuu naas nuujinta dhammeystiro.

THE BEST AND THE WORST SLEEP POSITION FOR THE ORGANS


for the brain 

The best sleep position for brain :

The blood carries the oxygen to the brain, which is vital to the brain function. The brain needs good circulation of blood all the time to function properly. The best position, which ensures optimum blood circulation to the brain, is lying on the back with the head on a pillow. The pillow should be thick enough to provide at least 10 degrees and at the most 30 degrees elevation to the head.
The worst sleep position for brain :
Lying on the stomach with the face downwards on the pillow is the worst sleeping position for the brain. This position is detrimental to the communication of several parts of the body with the brain.

for the heart

The best sleep positions for heart :
Lying on the back is fine for the heart. Other than that, sleeping on the right side is also considered very healthy for the heart. These two positions give the heart the required room and it does not have to put in any extra effort to function properly.
- The worst sleep positions for heart :
Sleeping on the left side and sleeping on the stomach are the worst positions for the heart. Both of these positions not only compress the space the heart needs but also put a lot of pressure on the heart to keep on pumping the blood efficiently. In some cultures, it is a rampant idea that sleeping in these postures burdens the heart and one might experience bad dreams. My personal experience confirms it.

The best sleeping position for the lungs is to sleep on the right side. Lying on the back with elevated head is also a healthy position for the lungs.
The worst sleep positions for lungs :
Sleeping on the left side is the worst for the lungs as it puts too much pressure on them. In the same way, sleeping on the stomach is also not good for the lungs.

The best sleep positions for liver and intestines :
Sleeping on the back and sleeping on the right side are the best sleeping positions for the liver. It keeps any compression or pressure at bay from the liver and the intestines.
The worst sleep positions for liver and intestines :
Lying on the stomach and sleeping on the left side are considered the worst positions for the liver. These positions restrict and compress the liver and intestines. This lack of space and restrictions can lead to liver, intestine and stomach problem in the long run. However, if one cannot help sleeping on the stomach, he/she should at least start putting a pillow under the tummy before sleeping.
